PLEASE NOTE THAT ONLY MEMBERS OF THE WORTHING ASTRONOMICAL SOCIETY WITH A VALID DBS CERTIFICATE CAN VISIT THE OBSERVATORY!
The Observatory is situated in the grounds of Windlesham School near Findon
John Brick will be present on Friday Evenings if the skies are clear
Members are welcome to go to the Observatory on Viewing Evenings ,
As it is within shool grounds, during school term time, all Members of the Worthing Astronomical Society must obtain a DBS Certificate which has to be registered with Windlesham School.
Visitors who are non-members must be accomapnied by a Member who has a registered DBS Ceritificate and all visitors are required to register their names in the Log Book at the Observatory.
Windlesham School requires the information detailed below before you visit the Observatory on Viewing Evenings.
So Members , please, if you have not already done so, provide the following information to John Brick before you go to the Obsrvatory.
Name of Driver/s
Name of Owner
Vehicle Registration
Model and colour of Car
Make of Vehicle
Please also display a card on your dashboard with WORTHING ASTRONOMICAL SOCIETY written on it.



The Observatory will be open to Members and their guests on Fridays after Sundown and if skies are clear. John Brick will be available to operate the Telescope.
