Current News

On the evening of Monday the 14th December next the Geminid meteor shower reaches its maximum activity. This is currently the most active shower of the year and is really worth turning out for. The moon will not interfere as it is just 3 days old. Activity last from 8th to the 17th December. Come and go throughout the evening and stay only as long as you wish. New clean toilets are nearby. If you are unsure where the Observatory is please contact me in the weeks before the 14th December and I will take you there and show you where it is. Please telephone me on 01903 505346.
